This was the 1st time I had attended this little show only 4 miles from home so we drove the Jeep to the cricket pitch were the fete was to be held. Some of our fellow club members had arrived before us and were tucking into breakfasts at the local pub across the road from the site. There were an assortment of vehicles on display, classic and vintage cars, a local motorbike club and a couple of vintage tractors. There was a good turn out from the North Staffs club The ward le france, hippo, 6 jeeps and an Austin radio truck. Dave and Maria’s Jeep won an award for the best oldest vehicle and were presented with a certificate. A car boot sale was located at the bottom of the field and a good selection of stalls and also a bar. The weather was excellent which meant it attracted a lot of visitors.
